Abstract
321,248. Reandoo, Ltd., Veness, W. S., and Appleford, J. F. Aug. 17,1928. Projectors. - In a light-projector, particularly for use as a theatre spotlight or for shop-window illumination, in which a source of light 2, with or without a spherical or other reflector 3, is housed within a sheet-metal casing 1 provided with a front opening fitted with a lens 4, the casing 1 is also provided with one or more side openings 6 each fitted with a sleeve 7 for a tubular carrier 8 carrying a lens 9 and a pivoted mirror 12 for varying the direction of the auxiliary beams of light, the carriers 8 being slidahle to vary the divergence of the auxiliary beams and rotatable to provide a further adjustment, of the mirrors. The mirrors are pivoted on arms 11 secured to the carriers 8, and the projector is fitted with holders 5, 10 to receive colour screens, diaphragms, or shutters. The intensity of all the beams may be adjusted simultaneously by means of a dimming resistance, and the projector may be supported by means of a socket 13 attachable to a known device permitting movement of the projector in any desired direction.
