Electric pick-ups, supporting. - An electric pick-up for gramophones &c. is carried on an arm 6 which is pivotally mounted between brackets 5 upstanding from a support 2 rotatable within a hollow pedestal 1, and the counterbalancing spring 8 surrounds the pivot 7 and has its ends extending into the arm 6 and pedestal 1, respectively. The sleeve 2 has a flange 3 cooperating with a flange 4 on the pedestal 1. Ball bearings may be provided between the flanges 3, 4, or between the sleeve 2 and the inside of the pedestal, or at both such points.
