Abstract

319,940. Finzi, N. S. Oct. 5, 1928. R÷ntgen-ray apparatus.-The device consists of a frustum-shaped screen the angle of which can be varied whilst keeping the surface continuous. A body member 1 of parallel tubular form with circular, square or other suitable crosssection, carries on hinges 3 a number of overlapping sectors 2 with flat or curved surfaces, the outer ends being hinged to stiff wire links 6 hinged to a ring 4 which mav have projecting fins 5 for the purpose, and which slides on the body member, the motion being controlled by a Bowden control 10, 12 or other device.
