Abstract

285,575. Gray, C. H. Nov. 19, 1926. Drawings to Specification. Junction rubber.-Wear at the ends of a roller covered with rubber or the like is minimized by supporting the ends of the covering in such a manner that resistance to deformation is uniform over the whole length of the roller. This mav be done by covering the roller with rubber which is made harder towards the ends, or by providing end-pieces consisting of a number of rubber rings of graduated hardness.
