319,087. Bell, W. I. July 2, 1928. Garages.-A garage is formed with a plurality of movable platforms 1 arranged in rows and adapted to run on tracks 2 sunk in the floor, the space covered by the platform being less than the available space, so that they may be moved to form pathways 4. Each travelling platform is adapted to support two rows of cars, four in each row, and is moved by rack and pinion gearing 8, 9 driven by a motor 11 disposed beneath the floor. Fixed parking spaces 25 may also be provided along one side wall.
