Abstract

202,597. Swinnerton, R. May 16, 1923. Garages.-A vehicle parking and storage floor for a garage is formed with a fixed inner space 4, an intermediate rotary platform 2, and an outer surrounding annular space 3. The latter is provided with an entrance 7 through which vehicles pass to the rotary platform, whence they are conveyed to any desired inner or outer storage cell formed by radial divisions 5 in the corresponding spaces. An auxiliary elevated storage balcony 14 may be provided with an inclined approach 18 and a turntable at the top of the approach, an elevated rotatable platform 21 being also provided carried by and movable with the lower platform 2. The rotary platform is operated by a power-driven winch 9 and an endless chain 11.
