Abstract

282,322. Field, W. R. Nov. 1, 1927. Addition to 264,325. Garages. - A modification of the invention claimed in the parent Specification consists in arranging the storage cells in double rows disposed either in herring-bone fashion, as by barriers 20, 21, row II, or end-to-end as shown in row IV. By such arrangements, cars can be driven into the cells, while for removal they are backed into the thoroughfares and then point in the direction in which they are to proceed. The cells in each row may be separated by a narrow gangway not a. motor thoroughfare, and the floors of the building may be connected by inclined ramps as described in the previous Specification.
