Abstract

318,440. Offner, L., and Wein, E. Nov. 28, 1928. Catamenial appliances.-A catamenial support comprises a girdle 1 of silk or other material with elastic fabric strip insertions 2,. one set of strips being adjustable. Integral with the girdle are depending portions 3 to which is secured a waterproof towel holder 4 of thin sheet rubber &c. This holder is secured at its front end to a transverse strip of material and, at its rear end, is gathered or pleated and secured to a less wide transverse strip so that the side edges overlap slightly. It is normally flat, but assumes a trough shape and partially envelopes the towel 5 when suspended from the depending portions 3 by the elastic strips 6; the front set of strips being adjustable. The towel 5 is suitably folded and retained in the holder 4 by the loops 7.
