Abstract

318,044. Prakke, M. Oct. 29, 1928. Checking shuttles and pickers.- In U-shaped picker buffers formed of layers of hide previously soaked in an emulsion of glycerine, or leather, or both, the outer layer 5, preferably of buffalo hide treated in a similar manner, is lengthened and passed around the inner layers 1 in such a manner that further fastening means is not required. The inner layers may be made of chrome or other leather. Holes 2 for the picker spindle are provided.
