Kinematograph apparatus. - The casing of apparatus capable of use as a camera or projector comprises a cover d hinged at e, the cover being shaped to form the parts of the side walls extending beyond the frame b carrying the gate n, and also to form semicircular projections which cover cut-away portions k of the walls permitting access to the spools h' arranged side by side on their spindles i<1>. The film passes from one spool between a sprocket p and pressure rollers l, forms a loop, and passes through the gate and over a second sprocket to the take-up spool. The cover may carry an image-viewing lens q, and the apparatus may be provided with a spring motor c. When the apparatus is used as a projector, the cover is opened and a lamp is placed to illuminate the gate.
