Abstract
314,822. Lemmon, R. J. March 3, 1928. Flotation processes.-A froth-flotation process for the separation of oxidized ores is effected in the presence of thiocyanogen compounds, which may be isomers of the normal compounds, e.g., esters of iso-thiocyanic acid. The compounds may be used as sulphidizing agents, the use for this purpose of iso-persulphocyanic acid, isodithiocyanic acid and their soluble salts and esters, and the products obtained by treating with alkalies a cyanogen sulphide or isomers or alkyl derivatives thereof, being referred to. The agents may be used alone or with additional sulphur.
