313,782. Smith, G. Copley-, Stockdale, F., and Leigh, A. J. July 14, 1928. Pile fabrics.-A tool. for cutting wool into lengths for use in making hand-made rugs comprises a cutting blade c such as a safety razor blade clamped between two metal plates a, b, which are bolted together and bent to form a channel into which the blade c projects. The plates a, b, Figs. 1 and 2, may have holes which register with the holes in the blade c and which are engaged by screws f, or they may have projections h, Fig. 5, and recesses j and be screwed together by a single bolt and wing nut.
