313,351. Aeschbach Akt.-Ges., F. June 27, 1928, [Convention date]. Stationary mixers with stirrers having complex motions.- In a stirring, kneading, or mixing machine of the kind in which the stirrer is given a planetary motion, the stirrer is of a shape other than a figure of revolution and preferably consists of two stirrers of ordinary globular form adjustably mounted in a single holder on the shaft. As shown, the beaters 16, Fig. 2, have their stems 17 clamped between side members 19, 20, Fig. 7, and a central member 18 mounted on the main stem, which may be mounted on either of the planetary shafts 3, 4, or on the central shaft 2. Fig. 4 shows in plan a modified form of stirrer, the envelope of which is a flattened figure of revolution.
