Abstract

Contents, delivering; boxes combined with powder puffs and mirrors; powder distributers.-A powder box of shallow depth is provided with a rotatable powder puff mounted in the lid which when turned out of contact with the powder in the box is used for applying the powder to the face or to supply powder to an ordinary puff. As shown the puff F is carried by a lid or plate E rotatable on a spindle D, the powder being supplied front the compartment 0 through the wall B which may be perforated or a gauze screen; when turned to the position indicated by the dotted lines the puff is used to apply powder to the face. In a modification a small puff is rotatably mounted in the lid of a box and. when turned out of the box, the powder thereon may be rubbed off by an ordinary powder-puff; in further forms the powder is distributed by a rotatable roller mounted in the lid of the box or in a removable partition or inner lid mounted thereon in which case the outer lid of the box carries a mirror and an ordinary flat puff is removably held between the outer lid and partition.
