309,369. Coggon, H. F. Feb. 20, 1928. Divided on 298,851. Mechanical toys.-A toy vehicle is steered by a manually-operated flexible cable connected with levers supporting the stub axles of the front wheels. As shown in Fig. 2 the wheels are carried by bell-cranks 67 pivoted at 47 and linked together by a rod 48. The cable is attached to a three-armed lever 51 pin-and-slot connected to the rod 48 and controlled by a spring 53. The cable is operated by a plunger 55 in a casing 54<a>. In a modification the cable is manipulated by levers arranged like a pair of glove stretchers. Specification 298,851 is referred to.
