Abstract
308,786. Galardi, A. N. March 29, 1928, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Fumigants.-Liquid hydrocyanic acid is rendered stable by addition of small quantities of dilute sulphuric acid or aqueous acetic acid or of formic or acetic acid which may contain sulphur dioxide or carbon dioxide or of sulphur dioxide alone. The liquid acid may be transported in a glass, tinplate or leaded vessel which may be opened or pierced at the place in which it is to be used for the destruction of vermin, insects, &c. If the liquid contains sulphur dioxide, this gas, after discharge, serves as an alarm gas indicating danger.
