308,438. Halden & Co., Ltd., J., and Halden, J. B. Feb. 28, 1928. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Printing-apparatus with continuous movement of negative and printed surface combed with developing apparatus.-The web of print paper after passing through the printing apparatus 5 which is fitted with an adjustable endless belt 10, passes over a roller 13 which is supplied with the necessary developing medium and is rotated at a speed different from that of the printed web so as to wipe the developer evenly over the print. The developed print is rolled on a loose roll 20 which rests on two pairs of angularly disposed endless belts 19. The belts 19 and the roller 13 are driven from the roll 9 over which the endless belt 10 passes. The developing roller 13 may be surfaced with an absorbent material, and, instead of dipping directly into a trough, may rotate in contact with a supply roller 14 which dips into a trough 15 kept supplied with developer. To adjust the development, the pressure between the rollers 13, 14 is adjustable.
