Abstract

308,141. Groedel, Otto, Baron. Aug. 11, 1928. Aerial propeller installations.-In a hydroplane vessel, an aerial propeller is mounted so as to be angularly adjustable athwart ship by means of a nut 28 having an upstanding pin 27 working between forks on a member carried bv the engine casing. The nut works on a screwed athwart-ship rod and is operated by bevel gearing. The engine may also be tilted by varying the length of an extensible leg by means of a hand wheel 30.
