Boxes and cases.-A box or case for electrical apparatus constructed wholly or mainly of metal or of insulating material, has the body built ot separate sides A, ends B, and bottom C attached to corner pillars D provided with lugs or feet F for attaching the box to a wall or similar support. The sides &c. may be detachably secured to the pillars and the feet may be integral with the pillars or attached thereto. The lid G is made of sheet metal or insulating material and has corner pieces J which are complementary to lugs E on the corner pillars D and, with eyebolts and nuts L, are used to secure the lid to the box. The lid may be strengthened at the edges by wire, strip, angle or channel material and fitted with a watertight or dusttight gasket.
