Abstract

307,258. Constructors, Ltd., and Finer, H. J. June 14, 1928. Brackets. - In brackets of the kind provided with a hook for engagement with a recessed upright, the hook 8<a> is made of wrought iron, steel or other metal and is formed with a shank 8 which is embedded in the bracket 7 by positioning it in the mould in which the bracket is cast. The hook may be provided with an extension 8<b>, afterwards removed, to facilitate positioning of the hook in the mould. The shank may be provided with lugs 8c to prevent the hook being withdrawn in the event of looseness occurring between the shank and bracket.
