Abstract

250,761. Newby, E. C. St. A. April 25, 1925. Double walls with concrete fillings.-Walls are formed by casting concrete between permanent metal sheets a and plaster slabs b which are spaced apart by frames d connected by angle-irons e. The inner bars h of the frames are secured to cross-ties f, and may be detachable. The sheets a are secured to the irons e, and the seats are held by the ties f and may be grooved to key with the concrete. The sheets a may be coated with stucco or rough cast, and when worn or leaky they may be replaced by a plaster coat.
