Abstract

306,313. Dahllof, J. P. April 2, 1928. Limbs, artificial.-An artificial foot comprises a U-shaped heel member 6 and a substantially U-shaped front member 11 pivoted together by a pin 12, and springs 16 coiled round the pin, the ends of the springs extending into the heel and front members and being held in cross-pieces 19, 21. A pin 13 on one member moving in a slot on the other member limits the pivotal movement of the two members. A pair of leg-irons 7 are pivoted to the heel member and are connected togethed by a bridge-piece 8 fitting in recesses 9 in the heel member.
