Abstract

285,690. Siegel, V. April 25, 1927. Lay figures.-In a bayonet-joint for connecting the arm of a lay figure to the body portion, the entering part of the joint is provided with a number of recesses &c. which engage a spring- pressed pin carried by the co-operating part B of the joint, to retain the parts in adjusted position. In the construction shown the part A of the joint is provided with a metal sleeve 3<1>, the end of which is formed with indentations 16 which, when the joint parts A, B are assembled, engage a pin 10 pressed into the indentations by a spring 12, a plate 11 being arranged between the spring and the pin. The pin 10 is guided in slots 9 in the joint part B. In a modification the spring and pin are contained in a casing removably fixed within the part B of the joint
