Abstract

170,168. Dietrich, J. G. Aug. 21, 1920. Dolls; stands.-A toy for imitating acrobats consists of a doll having flat and U-shaped limb extremities, which engage a bar of U-shaped cross-section. The bar 1, Fig. 4, can be supported by tubular posts 5, the bar being inserted in apertures 4 in the posts. The dolls 7 are of flat material and articulated, and the fingers are folded over on to the hands, so that either the feet 2 or the hand 3 can be engaged with the bar by inserting the extremities into the channel, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2. Slots 6 may be made at intervals in the fold of the bar to give additional support when the members are inserted. Parallel bars may be used to support a doll, the arms of the doll being made flexible so that they can be bent to allow the hands to be engaged with the bars.
