Abstract
305,393. Frensdorff, W., and Deutsche Schiff-und Maschinenbau Akt.-Ges. March 9, 1928. Running generators in parallel; systems depending on two or more machines.-Where a number of generators are in parallel with principal supply mains through overload and reverse current cut outs, certain individual current-using devices, or groups thereof, may be connected, selectively or otherwise, to at least one of the generators through connections uninfluenced by the cut-outs. As shown in Fig. 1 consumers D, E may, by switches B, C, be selectively connected directly with either of two of the machines I - - IV, running in parallel, through cut-outs a - - d, on the principal bus-bars A. Fig. 2 shows three machines connected directly to a common negative bus-bar and to separate positive bus-bars for the purposes of the invention. Consumers N, 0, P may be selectively connected by sets of switches K, L, M to either of the positive bus-bars.
