Abstract
361,467. Commutators for dynamoelectric machines. WATSON, S. J. and HINCHLIFF, A. O., 175, Merton Road, Wimbledon, London. Sept. 12, 1930, No. 27313. [Class 35.] To enable connection to be made easily between the wires and the segments in the case of commutators having a very large number of segments, the extremities of the lugs c<1> .. c<5>, Fig. 2, of adjacent segments are spaced apart and are at different distances from the commutator axis. The lugs may project forwardly instead of upwardly, Fig. 4, and each lug of a group may be arranged at a different position along a segment as shown in Fig. 6.
