Abstract

303,282. Hughes, Z. Jan. 17, 1928. Loose covers, securing in position.-A device for securing in position the loose covers of furniture, comprises a cylindrical body 1 of resilient or pliable material adapted to be slipped between the back 6 or sides and the seat 7 to maintain a grip on the loose cover 5 along its whole length and prevent the cover from feeding forward and so becoming displaced. The member 1 may be a hollow rubber tube, covered with fabric 2, or may comprise a long cylindrical bag stuffed with hair, sand, etc.
