Apparatus for making filaments.-To obviate the presence of joints under high liquid pressure in that type of spinning apparatus in which rotating spinning nozzles are employed, the titre pump G is mounted on the rotating part D carrying the nozzle M. Spinning solution is supplied through a stationary pipe A connected to the moving parts by a joint B, and passes through a first filter F, then through the pump G, next through a second filter K, finally passing to the nozzle. The part D is rotated by gearing ('. C<1>, and the pump is actuated by supplementary gearing Q, Q<1>, P, N. Specification 283,140 is referred to.
