Abstract
A filtering-material for gas masks consists of cellulose, wood pulp, paper, cotton waste, asbestos or other porous fibrous material disintegrated to powder passing through sieves of ,5 to ,05 mm. mesh. The material may be carbonized, and catalysts may be incorporated in the raw material or the disintegrated product. The material is used in an unaggregated or unmoulded condition.ALSO:A filtering-material for gas masks consists of cellulose, wood pulp, paper, cotton waste, asbestos, or other porous fibrous material disintegrated to powder passing through sieves of ,5-,05 mm. mesh. The material may be carbonized, and catalysts may be incorporated in the raw material or the disintegrated product. The material is used in a loose or unmoulded condition.
