Trees.-A shoe tree comprises an intermediate casing 7 adapted to fill the whole width of the shoe, a heel part 19 adjustably connected to the casing by a screw 21 and horizontal pivot 20, and a toe part 1 pivoted at 4 to a bar 5 which is slidable in guides in the casing and is formed at its inner end with rack-teeth 6. A flat plate 10 rotatable in the casing 7 has on its under face a spiral thread 15 in mesh with the teeth 6. When the plate is rotated by a handle 16 which is secured to it by a pin and slot connection 17, 18, the bar 5 is moved to expand the tree.
