Water-tube boilers.-A steam-generating unit adapted to impel a mixture of hot water and detergent solution against a surface to be cleaned comprises a jacket 10 provided with a burner 10 and enclosing a water column 15, coiled circulating tubes 19 having their ends connected to the top and bottom of the column, and a coil 18 connected to a water supply pipe 17. Steam coils 20 with their upper ends connected to the top of the column have their lower ends connected to an outlet pipe 21.
