Partitions in water space.-A saddle-shaped chamber placed upon a furnace flue 2 to promote water circulation has a straight openended downwardly projecting portion 1<xx>, a curved upper open-ended portion 1<x> terminating near the top of the flue, and an upward extension 3 opening a little below the normal water level. The curved part of the chamber is open on the side in contact with the flue. A wedgeshaped piece 4 on the back of the chamber engages with the side of the adjacent flue.
