Driving-arrangements. - The compressor 26 and its electric driving motor 29 of a compression refrigerating machine are mounted upon a frame 64 suspended by springs 63 from aT-shaped standard carried by an angle-iron frame 51 detachably secured to a base 23 carrying the evaporator 24. The motor is pivoted to the frame 64 and stayed bv a rod 88 secured at one end by a holding-down bolt of the compressor and at the other to a lug 86 on the motor casing having a rubber bush 87 to reduce vibration. Bv this arrangement, the tension in the driving-belt 84 of the motor can be adjusted.
