Abstract
298,565. Comes, E. Oct. 11, 1927, [Convention date]. Dye preparations.-A dye preparation for dyeing leather, footwear, gloves, and skins comprises saponification oleine, a dyestuff, and acetone, together with essence of turpentine and benzine or petrol. In an example, saponification oleine, turpentine oil and Fat-Ponceau are warmed together, mixed with benzine or petrol, allowed to stand, and finally mixed with acetone. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also preparations containing fatty substances in general, dyestuffs, acetone and other organic solvents. Stearine is used as the fatty substance in an example. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
