Abstract
297,450. Naamlooze Vennootschap Nederlandsche Kunstzijdefabriek. Sept. 22, 1927, [Convention date]. Spindle apparatus.- The bottoms of boxes or bowls for spinning artificial silk are provided with a central recess 4 preferably having g discharge orifices 5 for the liquid that is introduced into the funnel during the spinning process. The bowl may consist of a shell 1 of drawn aluminium, and be secured by rolling an edge 9 in the central recess in a cast aluminium foot 3, the employment of drawn aluminium permitting the usual ebonite lining to be dispensed with; in this construction the recess may be filled up so that the bottom is flat, or an annular recess sufficient for the insertion of the portion 9 of the shell may be provided.
