Fixed - chamber apparatus. - Relates to apparatus for delivering liquids in measured quantities by volume of the type comprising two measuring vessels a, b into which the fuel is pumped, an air pipe c connecting the tops of the vessels to allow the air displaced from the vessel being filled to expel the liquid from the other vessel, float valves d to close the connection when a predetermined level is reached and an overflow pipe e of small bore from each vessel. According to the invention each overflow pipe delivers liquid into a closed chamber f from the bottom of which it flows upwards through a dip-tube g into a glass vessel h which is vented and returns the overflow to the main tank.
