Hooks fixed to walls and flat surfaces; nails. -A picture &c. suspending device comprises a wall plate e and a securing nail d, the projecting portion of the nail being engaged by a support f consisting of an upwardly bent extension of the lower end of the wall plate, which support may also extend above the nail and be bent over at g, to engage the object supported. Modified forms of the device are described and the wall plate may be corrugated or plane and may be provided with a plurality of nails.
