Abstract

293,944. Pollard, A. F. C. May 24, 1927. Pictures &c., hanging on walls.-Pictures &c. are suspended from two horizontally spaced nails in a wall by means of an attachment plate having a vertical slot b at one end and a horizontal slot or edge a at the other end, the plate being secured to the picture frame by a pivot screw c and a fixing screw d<1> to permit adjustment in a vertical direction. The plate may be in two slidably connected portions, Fig. 7, to permit horizontal adjustment, and for large pictures the vertical and horizontal slots can be formed in separate members A, B, Fig. 4, secured to the frame in spaced relation, either or both members being pivotally, or slidably and pivotally mounted.
