Abstract

295,555. Thiel, H. Feb. 11, 1928. Drilling-machines. - A single spindle machine is converted into a two spindle machine to permit taper and finish tapping without change of tool. As shown applied to a pillar type of machine an arm 2 clamped to the pillar 1 carries an additional spindle head B. Adjustment may be provided by swinging the arm 2 on the pillar, the drill head B being then angularly adjustable on the arm. The belt pulley 7 is laterally movable and the idlers 8 are adjustable.
