Abstract

294,587. Leech, W. S., and Sherman, A. E.. Jan. 27, 1927. Vaporizing by heat; vapours, delivering.-Ventilating and disinfecting apparatus is provided with means for delivering a regulated supply of water and essential oils, disinfectants, &c. to a mixing-chamber 12 and thence to a vaporizer 13, 14, past which air is drawn by a fan 7. The water and disinfectants &c. are contained in receptacles 8 having drip-feed devices 9 for feeding the liquids to the mixing-chamber. The vaporizer comprises a dish 13 and electric heater 14. All the members are mounted in a casing open at top and bottom. The motor 6 for driving the fan 7 is mounted on members 5a on a frame 5 secured within the casing. Sight-glasses are mounted in the casing wall.
