291,729. International General Electric Co., Inc., (Assignees of Tuteur, J.). June 6, 1927, [Convention date]. Pivoted handles; locking catches for, socket fixings.-The propelling handle 44 of a vacuumcleaner is detachably connected to a lug 45 on the shoe by spring-pressed levers 47 carrying pins engaging the lug. In a modification, the handle is attached by a bail which is sprung over pins on the legs 39.
