Abstract
291,292. Sukohl, H. Nov. 11, 1927. Screw propellers.-Air propellers of wood are coated with resin, glue, lacquer or celluloid under pressure or by like process whereby the coating extends into the natural pores of the wood. Steel chips, sand or other hard materials in fine state may be added to the coating materials. In one process the propeller is immersed in a solution which is put under pressure. In another process the propeller is first subjected to a vacuum and is then immersed in the solution.
