Veneers.-Wood veneers are lined or backed with an open mesh fabric, which may be attached thereto by an adhesive including or consisting of rubber, gutta-percha, white lead, paints ground in oil, thick paint to which may be added oil varnish, or paint containing a small addition of rubber solution. The outer surface may be varnished or treated with paraffin.
