Cam - actuated pumps; stroke, varying.-In a revolving cylinder pump the pistons 4 are actuated by an inclined member 5, against which they are pressed by springs 11. The stroke of the pistons may be. adjusted by varying the inclination of the member 5 by means of a rack 8 engaging a toothed sector 7 thereon. The rack has a graduated head 14 to indicate the stroke. In another form the adjustment is effected by worm gear. The springs 11 may be arranged at the other ends of the pistons.
