Holders.-In holders of the kind wherein a protecting-ring c is protruded by a spring d held at its ends in annular recesses f, g in the ring and in the casing a respectively, the inner rim j of the recess f is made higher than the outer rim k. so that a chamber is formed to enclose the spring to prevent it from contacting with the socket b before the. rim k overlaps the rim h of the recess g. The ring- c is retained in the holder by a wire e sprung into a groove in the casing.
