Kinematograph apparatus.-The claws or other film engaging members of an intermittent feed mechanism are disposed so as to be operative in the immediate vicinity of the exposure aperture; an air jet in accordance with Specification 273,649, may be used, in conjunction with such members, to press the film against a support and to prevent deposition of oil on the film, and a tunnel-shaped member may also be provided between the lens and exposure aperture to prevent oil deposition. As shown, levers 1 carrying the feed claws are pivoted on a frame 3 which is reciprocated vertically by a cam 4, and are rocked by a cam disc 5. The claws move in slots 6 which are formed at the sides of the exposure aperture.
