Kinematograph apparatus. - Superposed films are caused to assume a convex form at the gate or focal plane during their periods of advancement when they are relieved from the pressure to which they are subjected during exposure. In the construction shown the films 18 pass through a gate or guide shuttle 10 of arcuate form but with a flat centre portion 12. The gate is reciprocated by a rocker shaft 16, so as to intermittently press the films together at the gate for an exposure and release them from pressure during the feed movement.
