Aeroplanes; propelling.-An aeroplane composed entirely of a large plane of stream-line cross-section has a passage from front to rear in which the propeller is mounted. The passage is " of such cross-section that at the place of the driving member the air is imparted with the greatest rate of flow with respect to the driving member." Control by means of air-currents without the use of rudders is referred to.
