Liquefying; revaporizing. - A compressor 3, expansion engine 4 and liquefier 6 and vaporizer 7 or 9 are combined for transport on rolling stock. The liquefier 6 is described in Specification 279,041. The " cold " vaporizer 7 comprises the spaces packed with insulating material surrounding the liquid tank 101. The " hot " vaporizer 9 is freely subject to atmospheric heat and can support a pressure of 150 atmospheres. Liquid in the vessel 101 is transferred to the vessel 9 by pressure of its .gas, derived from storage vessels or compressed by the compressor 3.
