Abstract

285,938. Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., and Twiss, D. F. Oct. 22, 1926. Moulding by dipping in latex which may be concentrated, mixed with fillers and vulcanizing materials, or may be vulcanized. The mould is coated with gelatin &c. containing a coagulant such as sodium silicofluoride, acetic acid, or a salt of calcium, magnesium, zinc, or aluminium. It may be porous or perforated and filled with a solution or jelly containing the coagulant. The bath or mould is agitated to make the deposit uniform.
